Faded Spade Cards Rock Out at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Poker Festival and Poker Room

This spring Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood in South Florida debuted their brand new custom branded Faded Spade poker playing cards. The poker room includes more than 40 tables offering various games and tournaments, and Seminole Hard Rock Poker (SHRP) hosts the biggest multi-table tournament festivals in the world every quarter of the year.

SHRP switched to Faded Spade poker playing cards because of the reputation of its 100% plastic poker playing card quality, longevity and durability in automatic shufflers. Similar to many Florida poker rooms, the SHRP team chose jumbo index with the modern font and face card options.

While the vast majority of players praised Hard Rock for switching to the industry‘s best-in-class poker playing card brand, it took some players a few orbits to get used to the modern fonts and face cards compared to the typical classic approach. To provide ample options, Faded Spade offers both modern and classic custom design approaches for poker rooms and casinos.

Throughout the festival, feedback from dealers and operators was overwhelmingly positive, noting that they had experienced far less issues with card marking and damages compared to their prior inventory of poker playing cards from a competing brand.

”It’s always fun to hear the polarizing comments first-hand from players during their initial interactions with Faded Spade cards - especially the modern version,” said Tom Wheaton, Founder & CEO of Faded Spade. “Most importantly, it was tremendous to hear that an operation the size and stature of Hard Rock, during one of the biggest poker festivals of the year, benefited from our commitment to playing card quality, security and longevity.”

If your poker room or casino is in the market to change playing cards, you can contact us to receive personal service while switching to the industry’s leading poker playing card brand.

“As our Faded Spade brand grows, so does customer loyalty from our most high profile clients like Hard Rock, Resorts World, MGM, Bally’s and more,” Wheaton added. “It gives our team great confidence to continue delivering world-class products and service across our B2B playing card product line, which now also includes casino and retail paper card options.”
